That would mean Kirk doesn't play for about half the games.

It was a suggestion made by a Jay announcer, and it sounded good to me at the time.
I dont think Springer can throw with his elbow.
We are solidly ****. :banghead:

It seems like trying to pick guys off second backfires more than it works.

If you have a bunch of mistake-prone clowns on your team as this team does, it certainly does.

Bichette making throws home on plays where he has no shot at an out now. This inning becoming a disaster is a lot on him.

How often do pitchers even practice that play?

Hopefully this is the last Start for Kikuchi for this year, with Stripling back from the IL. Put Kikuchi on the IL for the rest of the year. A man who is unable to complete 3 Innings without putting the team behind every game. An absolute disgrace of a signing by Ross Atkins.

Attempted pickoffs on 2nd rarely work out.I think they were trying to mess with Kikuchi there.

A bunch of good RPs needed for the next two will have to pitch this blowout game now. This team's pitching staff is an embarrassment.

Kikuchi has been awful for a while now honestly this rotation outside Gausman and Manoah have been terrible. I don't think we can win a playoff series with it

I think the real problem is that they aren't going to make the playoffs with it.

It wont be his last start because Schneider likes grinders.

It's going to be an interesting winter. I want to keep guerrero and manoah but is fixing this team possible without trading one of them

Keep hoping.

Who knows what management is thinking? Stripling had a good AAA rehab start which could have been useful in an MLB game. It forced this debacle from Kikuchi.

Who knows? Maybe White or Stripling will be designated for long relief to keep both Kikuchi and Berrios in the rotation. Nothing is off the table with Atkins and co.

Merrifield was a priority for Atkins. He spoke of the guy like it was 3 or 4 years ago.

I even question using Richards here. This is still a winnable game off of cy young bradish.

Based on what we've seen from Lawrence and Hatch, I'm pretty sure the answer is no. The team's high minors org SP depth is laughable.

They shouldn't be using anybody good in a 4 run deficit if they can help it. Not if they want to win the next two.

Trading one of your two most valuable, cost controlled players seems like a bad way to go about improving.

This team is actually pretty close but the nerds or whoever are running it,or whoever is setting these lineups is blowing it because everybody knows that it is the offence that has to be the main reason we win games.

TB beating Cole 1-0,6th inning.
We would actually be challenging for the division if we could have gone on a mini streak..oh well.

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
