Just checking the boxscore now.

Where's Bo? I thought he was supposed to come back today.

How else is Schneider going to bat his favourite player Biggio cleanup?

There is no infield fly rule with a guy on 1st base. That's only with guys on 1st and 2nd.

The infield fly rule is designed to prevent an easy double play on a pop up (as I assume old timey players in the 1800s were letting pop ups drop all the time). That could only happen with two or more runners on. In that situation, the hitter should have been running through the bag and he wasn't.

Needs rest from his flight apparently. Springer needed rest from his off day too.

The Jays are literally just throwing games away.

No pinch running Belt in a 0-0 game in the 8th. OK then.

Lol Vladdy. You're hopeless and throwing so much money away.

I know DeJong's been terrible and would have been terrible at the bat tonight, but how could we reward Espinal with another start after that terrible throw last game.

We like to play tight low scoring games in Ohio... that series in Cleveland early last week and now this.

Chapman's errors always come at the worst times.

The Reds starter, a minor league journeyman who spent time with the Long Island Ducks in 2023, had a career 6.42 ERA coming into the game in the majors and is a thoroughly mediocre pitcher in the minors.

Couldn't be the pathetic Jays offense though.

Seeing how some of these games are on Apple TV+ here's 2 months free to whoever wants it. You can thank me later.

As of a couple of days ago, the Jays were slightly ahead of Oakland and Kansas City, and the Third Worst team in all of MLB with RISP. Wish we had this solid bullpen and starters two seasons ago, when our offense was the best in MLB. We would have been World Series favourites if that is the case in 2021. I guess we cannot have it all. Hopefully, Bichette can spark this lineup tomorrow after being away for nearly three weeks.

0 runs in 9 innings. Yeah, we definitely wouldn't have wanted to activate Bo to DH in this one.
