I love me some Schneider. What a breath of fresh air this kid is. Love his discipline and patience at the plate. Something the rest of this lineup is sorely lacking.

Davis Schneider's wRC+ is approaching 300 on the season. Not good enough to play over Espinal the past few weeks though.

Chapman don't give Shneider any tips on hitting, please. Stay far away!

Pete Walker seems like a fun guy.

Wait until the Mets bullpen gets involved in that one.

It's looking more and more like the hitting hasn't been a fluke for Schneider. Obviously he's not going to continue batting .450, but a 0.8 OPS season seems very reasonable from him over a season. This is such a huge blessing considering 2B is our worst position

Gausman blowing this 5-1 lead. You might want to pull him before you're in a deficit.

Schneider better be careful, if his OPS gets over 2.000 they might demote him to Dunedin.

That might be best for him though... would prevent Guillermo from getting his hooks into him and making him a .700 OPS hitter.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Is Genesis Cabrera our best reliever, Sheesh, he's been lights out. 8 pitch inning. Thought this guy had control issues? Lmao, what a fleece job that trade appears to be.

You cannot put your faith in the Mets Bullpen for anything. Sad that we are in the position to have to rely on garbage teams like the Mets.

Turns out it is hard to make up ground in the standings you've fallen far behind good teams actually trying to win.
