When you can pull a dominating Berrios for the worst pitcher in your pen in a tie game (Chad Green), you clearly gotta do it

We couldn’t leave dominating Little in for struggling Hoffman now?

Hoffman has looked like Blowmano this past month also (atrocious ERA of 13.5 in May), so we pretty much have Blowmano 2.0 right now. Hoffman looks nothing like the pitcher we saw in April, since his command has been shaky. Even in his scoreless innings and saves recently, he was bailed out by great defensive plays (i.e. Clement), and has a lot of hard hit contact that luckily went for Outs.

I don’t disagree. But Blowmano is still Blowmano.

Looks like we take the series … could be in a wildcard spot after today as mid as the AL has been.

No, the best catcher in baseball is clearly Tyler Heineman. That dude should be hitting third in the lineup.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Kirk and Heineman have both been fantastic today hitting wise. I said couple of weeks ago that they should be in the lineup together more often with Kirk as DH the days Heineman is Catching, or even Heineman as DH when Kirk is Catching.

Great to win 9-1, when your 500 million man Vlad is 0 for 5 today. Kirk looks like his First Half 2022 Version, and not the guy I trashed and who looked awful in 2023 and 2024 during his Plate Appearances. No doubt he will be going to the All-Star Game next month if he keeps hitting like this, and he will deserve it.
