I wonder if Davis Schneider should DH for George. I don't think George can contribute on that knee, sadly. Tough call to sit him though

Three double plays in a row. I just can't get over that. Team of destiny. But can Springer swing a bat and stay upright?

Not worth it. Go for the win.

The Jays have been the better team for like 35 out of the last 36 innings. That 1 bad inning hurts a lot. Hope they can make it a moot point by winning this.

We are the better team, both offensively and defensively. They need a lead tonight so Schneider and the bullpen don't fk it up. Even then, there's no guarantees.

I'm hoping* for a comebacker when Woo is in relief.

*Of course I'm not really hoping, that would be bad. But It would make me laugh.

If his knee is better than yesterday maybe. I'm sure they're doing every possible treatment. But last night his swing was hampered, he'll be slow on the bases. I do think Davis would be a decent plan B, although you hate to shuffle the top of the order as well

Beiber went 6 innings last time. Did he start the 7 , I forget already. If he can go 7 tonight and only give up a couple like game 3, it will really save us from the bullpen anxiety. If they ever knocked him out early it's a nightmare, unless Bassit or Lauer or Gausman could go 2 or 3

Hopefully we don't have to use the other starters tonight.

Open the floodgates early and wrap this game up in a non-intense manner.

Remember when AA left and everyone was acting like we let some generational genius get away and would never win again. This team has gotten farther than any AA-led team already. Best season in 30+ years and we've done it not with a team stacked full of talent, but a solid core and team ball strategy. Easily the one most fun season I've had in a long while.

Jays have done this with 270M payroll and by being one of the worst teams at developing talent mainly acquiring from FA. Remember when Rogers had 'payroll parameters' under AA and wouldn't let him spend while they were contending or he had to withhold spending in the offseason because Rogers wouldn't open up their wallets during the season?

They have done away with that and really spent on the team to cover up prospect development. Jays got to this point (ALCS) in 2015 and 2016. And AA already won the WS and has been in the playoffs every single year except this one. Really bad take on this one.
