Going to be tough but we don't have to necessarily beat Yamamoto. Just need to work his pitch count and get to the bull pen. And with Gausman, he's capable of holding it down for us to not have to score a ton of runs to win either.

Really don't want us to have to go to game 7 where the Dodgers can almost remove their bullpen weakness by having their starters be relief pitchers.

And we gotta remember, Trey looked very mortal in Game 1 while he was nearly unstoppable in Game 5. It's very hard to do the same performance twice in one series. We even started to get to 2025 Jays Killer Bryce Miller in Game 5 after he murked us in Game 1 but the Seattle bullpen is so good that they were able to keep it close. If we wear out Yamamoto and tag even just 2 or so on him by the 5th, the Jays can win by getting to the LA bullpen if Gausman keeps us in it.

Vegas has Blue Jays as the favorite to win World Series. When the series was tied 2-2 and 1-1. Or at 0-0 , oddsmaker had Jays as severe underdogs.
If it gets to 3-3 I like to see what the line would be

Who's lining up to pitch game 7 for both teams if it gets that far?

We'll finally adjust to Yamamoto and score 2 or 3 runs. It'll be a late comeback against their bullpen where we score 10 runs in the 8th to end their misery

Not a fan of that mentality. You'd be conceding both that Gausman is worse than Yamamoto and that you've essentially given up on trying to get to Yama, both very bad signals to send to the team and the fans. If our offense happens to tag 3 or 4 runs on him and you have someone other than Gausman out there, you might be regretting that decision. Anything can happen in a Game 7. I'd like for the team to go all out and treat this like a Game 7 vs Yamamoto.

Yamamoto has been built up into such a bogeyman in our minds because of Game 2. But he's not a robot, he's capable of being hit just like anyone else. I think if this team wants to be champs they have to prove they're up to this final Yamamoto challenge.

Gausman cooked those scrubs last time out. We can figure Trashamoto out.

This guy is absolutely terrifying and has all the makings of an all-time great. Hard to imagine beating him (as I fully expect he’s going the full 9 again) but at least we have the one game lead.

Yamamoto has been one of my faves in the league but it's still hard to see him dominating this Jays lineup twice in one week.

We'll make adjustments.

The goal is to get him out of the game by the 6th inning max.

Gaus has been terrific this post-season, but for some reason we never score any runs when he's on the mound. Need to give him some run support!

I feel like we're about to get another Joe Carter moment...

A walkoff homerun to seal the deal tomorrow night.

ok here's the game plan for game 6:

best thing against yamamoto is to sacrifice kiner falafel and make him hover the plate with hopes to get hit by a pitch.. and then make him run at Yamamoto and throw a punch and connect on his jaw and hopefully knock him out to where he wont pitch the rest of the game or at least stun him enough where he sucks. Lol

No he didn't..he allowed 2 home runs, while already down 1 run..I believe he still had runners on base when hooked...that's not "cooked" when stakes are so high..he started well, but finished in the dumpster

Gausman gave up a run on two hits to the first 4 batters then retired 17 straight. He absolutely steam rolled the Dodgers until the 7th inning, but then they took a 3-1 lead off two solo HRs. Still a very good start for Gausman (again), but we gave him absolutely no run support (again).

They will leave him on as long as they can like they did with Snell but I think the Jays will get to him this time. They have tape of themselves looking like fools vs him less than a week ago so they will have a better plan. All they need is to take the early lead like the last game and they won't feel the pressure to create something. That's where they lost game 2 imo, as good as Yamamoto was Blue Jays hitters were pressing and Yamamoto fed off of that.
