Vlad with knee issues already at this age? Gee, if only he wasnt grossly overweight! Too much pressure on those knees. Too bad this front office consists of a bunch of pussies who cant hold their own stars to fitness standards FOR THEIR OWN GOOD! Smh.

It's funny to watch this team try to hit good pitching. Or really any pitching.

Sonny Gray might get 15 ks against this team.

In some hypothetical playoff game that we're somehow going to make despite not being able to hit?

Chapman mad about strikes that he has been calling all day and then when he gets a pitch to hit he just fouls it off

Also, I'm pretty sure King is going to throw for 15 strikeouts tonight.

Varsho and Chapman in the same lineup is not ideal. I love watching them field, but they make me want to pull my hair out when they're at the plate.

If King stays healthy next year for a full season as a SP, he could easily be one of the best pitchers in the game. Nasty stuff.

Gee, sure glad they sent Clement down who was hitting 380 with an 885 OPS who had shown instances of a good contact hitting approach for Cam Eden. A move described as for 'defense and baserunning.' His AAA OPS is 687. I understand Eden plays the OF and the IF is jammed but they have Whit playing 2B today.

Not surprising as Clement was benched after going 2 for 4 in a game when the rest of the team struggled to hit.

Not like they need hitting with Vlad out.

In other news, I am glad for the Gausman bounce back start.

Nonetheless, defense first, defense first.

This ump needs to get his eyes checked out. I mean holy hell how was that a strike?

automated strike calling is probably the next big rule change in MLB. If they can have a clock on the field, you can automate strikes

Chapman with RISP. Might as well start the B8.

Bases loaded 2 out? The Blue jays can't fool me I'm familiar with their game. Pop up to 3rd base coming up.

Chapman’s defence is starting to show holes, he has more than twice as many errors this year as he did last year.
His defence may not be enough to make up for the atrocious offence

That's the only way we can score with bases loaded.

This is the best offensive display we've seen from the Jays in weeks... maybe months...
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
