He won't though. He has had multiple IL stints playing 2b. You think he can play a full year at short?

Even if he plays 162 games he isn't worth the money that could've been better spent elsewhere. You could've traded prospects for a comparable glove who can't hit who is getting paid far less.

How many teams do you think were bidding for the servies of Gimenez this winter? My bet is there was just one. Furthermore, if Andres Gimenez is a FA this winter he isn't getting paid that type of $.
