Varland should have been in to start the inning as opposed to Trey facing their 3 best hitters for a third time who he already struggled against

I expect Gimenez to be better next season, I think the injury might still be a factor with him, but my god he's been awful this season.

Does John Schneider pull Trey early, if he's in a similar situation as Gausman?
