He's always been a streaky hitter. Scorching for a week or two, then ice cold for the same amount of time.

Damn. 1st and 2nd no outs and we can only squeeze out 1 run. Looks like McClanahan got better and better as that inning went on too. Might not get many more chances tonight.

He's been a singles machine so far. Hopefully soon.

Nah he was all over the zone against springer, bo and vladdy but then settled in and completely dominated the next 3 hitters with pinpoint accuracy and velocity.

Neither Kirk or Whit could catch up to McClanahan's FB in that inning a way that Bo and Vlad could. He just blew it right by them.
