You would think Varsho could do SOMETHING in the most lefty friendly ballpark in all of baseball. But nope!

Varsho/IKF are free outs at this point, and KK has 0 pop

Good god. Its already bad enough that our top 4 guys are all hitting below .200 But starting both KK AND IKF on a daily basis is paramount to waving the white flag. I just refuse to believe this is the gameplan going forward. KK and IKF should be bench players exclusively, brought in only to give other guys a day off or for defensive late inning purposes.

All of that for one measly run lmao. Still a completely worthless team with RISP. Didnt we go something like 3 for 17 with RISP yesterday?

The catcher is literally putting the glove middle middle and Biggio still can’t get a hit. I’d be so much more comfortable with Schneider or Clement on that spot

No wonder why no other teams came close to the offers the Jays made to sign both IKF and KK. The Yankees did not want IKF back even on an one year deal. Yet, Atkins foolishly throws 18 million to both of them for 2020, and 15 million over two for IKF when he is terrible at the plate (especially the second half of last year with New York).

Late inning defense and bench players should how they be used. If KK has to be in the lineup, put Varsho and his atrocious bat on the bench. You simply could not give away three easy outs by having Varsho, KK, and IKF in the lineup together. Not sure what it would take for this front office to come to their senses.
