Is Robberse worth getting kinda excited about or nah? He's been pretty darn good in his last 4 or 5 outings.

Yes, absolutely. He's still 19 (doesn't turn 20 for another two months) and he's up to High A. He's been ~low 90's this year with a really clean delivery. He's a real prospect.

He is a well-regarded prospect. He's reached A+ at 19, so let's see how he does. He certainly outgrew Low A.
For those unfamiliar with him, here's his MLB Pipeline profile
Signed in late July 2019 as an international free agent out of Zeist, Netherlands, where he spent the entirety of his amateur career and competed for his country internationally, the young right-hander opened eyes quickly in his pro debut. Though he only got into five games in the rookie Gulf Coast League, Robberse offered a flash of what the Blue Jays hope they’ll see more of in the future, posting a 0.87 ERA over 10 1/3 innings, walking none and striking out nine.
Given that much of Robberse’s game is self-taught, the right-hander’s delivery is a natural movement that the Blue Jays believe comes with plenty of projection. Robberse’s fastball velocity has moved from the high-80s to the low-90s with room for more growth, and his curveball, a pitch he throws confidently, is well ahead of his developing changeup when it comes to secondaries.
When Robberse signed with the Blue Jays, he had an extremely wide range of potential outcomes, and that remains true. The potential is there for a breakout, though, especially as he develops his 6-foot-1, 160-pound frame. Robberse is one of the more intriguing long-term rotation projects in the organization.

Re: 2021 Minor League/Prospects Discussion Thread
Robberse's curveball is a major weapon. I can't find it now, but a month or two ago someone posted (on Twitter, I think?) the swing-and-miss numbers he was getting and they were eye-popping. Granted, that was in low-A, in a season where there are a lot of guys in low-A who'd have been in short-season A if not for minor league contraction, but it's a quality pitch by all indications.

**** your asterisk.

Re: 2021 Minor League/Prospects Discussion Thread
Adam Kloffenstein continues to offer a statistical paradox. In five innings yesterday, eight hits and a walk, 4ER, but 11K. I've seen dribbles of info suggesting the team is generally satisfied with his progress. Obviously issues to work through, but the high ERA of 6.22 is not overly concerning yet.

Robberse did not have a great debut in Vancouver: 2.2 IP, 9 hits, 4 ER, 5 walks, 0 Ks.

What do you think of Martinez’s start in Vancouver? He’s still hitting for power, he’s really cut down on his strikeouts (but hasn’t walked much yet), however, he has an abysmal BABIP possibly because all he seems to be hitting are flyballs (60% of the time).

It’s just too small of a sample size to draw any conclusions at all, isn’t it? Especially since the young man had to move across the continent.

For sure. It’s just his stats are kinda strange. He has a really, really low BABIP with so many flyballs. Flyballs don’t have a high xBA, but I’m not sure if the fact he’s hitting so many of them is noteworthy at all. Also, it’s encouraging that his strikeout rate is so low, some people are concerned that it will elevate as he moves up.

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

A seven inning no-hitter for Trent Palmer of Dunedin last night. He was the Jays third round pick in 2020.
