Looks like it was Hoffman and hope to walk it off in the 9th before the Green loss in the 10th

Our manager really paints us into a corner. Every. Single. Game.

The other choice (Green vs Stanton) isn’t a good one either. Better win this one now as Hoffman is definitely down tomorrow.

You sort of have to swing if it is a hit and run

If it’s a horrible pitch in a horrible location with no chance of putting good wood on the ball I would take it…

You would get crucified by your manager back in the dugout after your base runner gets thrown out.

Rice ends it and we burn Hoffman anyway, worst of both worlds

We should've have 6+ runs with all the runners and traffic. Would be nice for Vlad to do something next inning.

Terrible pitch too. Middle-up fastball.

Omg game over. If only we had players that could crush fastballs like that

You can't win them all. All you can do is play as well as you can.

Let's see what happens in the 9th.

Hoffman had been really solid for a while, and 4th game in 5 days so not too pissed about it.

10HR's in 43 innings is problematic, but he has been overall solid since his May strugles.
