That greedy play by Holt. What a disaster

Oh boy. Boston vs Cleveland is so much more entertaining than ours! (not that I'm complaining)

Anyone agree it's time to change this rule where a guy gets called out for losing contact? As long as the guy doesn't lose the bag at the end of the slide he should be safe. Ernie just beat me to it.

But it's not actually that hard to stay on the base. Even if you sled too late

With super slow mo replays you can slide over the bag and bounce in the air for less than a tenth of a second and be called out. I just don't think that's in the spirit of the rule when you get to the bag first.

Will he bounce back? It's just the 3rd inning.

Sportswriters everywhere chasing mail trucks down the street trying to get their Cy Young votes back.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

We want Cleveland to win, right? Rather play them next potentially than Red sox?

Not looking good, none of his best pitches are working.

I honestly don't care, everytime you cheer for a match up it comes back to bite you in the ass minus the Cavs for us Raptors fans, we obviously didn't want them. That's clearly a completely different animal. All I care about is getting by Texas, worry about who's at the end of the tunnel when we get there.

Yes, better Cleveland than Boston.
