Does John Schneider pull Trey early, if he's in a similar situation as Gausman?

I don’t care that he threw the ball. It was a weak ground ball induced by the pitcher. You don’t use that plate appearance to gauge your starter’s performance and so decide to bring in Billy Koch.

97 MPH off the bat, wasn’t good today and has been hit by those same guys before

Eddings gifted them a run by not calling Strike 3 on Arozarena. So call it 2 runs allowed on 1 swing. And nothing since the 1st inning. Pulled in the 4th inning. With no bullpen behind him.

Your strategy has obviously not been working.

Schneider had a chance to watch what the Tigers did with Skubal and his own game 1 blunder. he has enough information. He doesn’t learn. Fire Schneider.

The issue is our starting pitchers are way better than our BP arms. Seattle can play that game because they have great BP arms, we do not

Varsho has looked terrible in the field today. Even his diving catch was only because he totally initially misread the ball.

The Mariners played a 15 inning/5 hour game on Friday night, got drunk, flew to Toronto less than 24 hours later, and have outplayed the Jays for 2 straight games. Unreal.

Pitching wasn't good we knew that going in. When batts go cold and you start making errors it's hard to recover.

schneider took yesavage out at the beginning of the 5th and replaced him with the same guy that gave up the lead last game, varland gave up a 3 run homer.

Trey wasn’t good today no matter how you want to sugarcoat it with excuses

Schneider did nothing that nobody else wouldn’t have in that spot today and Trey isn’t Tarik Skubal

We know Trey isn’t Tarik. That’s not a reason to pull him.

Our SPs are certainly better the first two times through the order

Hasn’t exactly been the case third time through

Correct.

Varsho plays a fine centerfield. But today he’s been drunk.
