Lol.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Don’t need you. The board would be better if you were not here.

Just here to re-affirm my post from years ago that said Logan Warmoth isn't good.

Kinda feel obligated to mention that this board isn't actually slow. We have the most posts of any non-NBA board on the site, and almost as many posts as the other 29 MLB teams combined. It's slow compared to the basketball boards because, well, this is a basketball forum.

Yeah this is probably the most active Jays forum on the internet, not counting reddit.

Good to know you can stop a run from scoring by "deflecting" the ball into the stands.

Pointing out the flaws in your idea led you to jump to immediately suggesting that I'm...a crazy cat lady, I guess? Yeah, that's a bit of a freakout. Part of a discussion forum is that people are going to disagree. If you immediately get weirdly personal every time someone disagrees with you, then yeah: discussion forums are going to be a bit tough.

Also, I'm allergic to cats.

I've been wrong about plenty. If you have opinions on things, particularly something as highly variable as baseball and baseball players, you're going to be wrong some of the time. If you want an example: I thought that trading for and then retaining Bautista was bizarre, because we were spending $2.4m on a player who to that point in his career was really very bad (from 2004-2008, he was worth -1.4 fWAR). What is interesting in retrospect is how that presaged the Statcast era: today, teams are quite conscious of seeking out players capable of hitting the ball hard, in the hopes that they can rework their swing/approach to turn that into game power, and Bautista was one such player. In 2019, such a player would be sought out; in 2008, he was a cast-off.

OK, fair enough. My apologies then. My only suggestion would be to possibly work on understanding that sometimes people simply have an opinion that differs from your own, and it’s not a personal affront to your intellect, it’s just a difference of opinion. That’s all.
EXACTLY! Trust me to them its a personal affront to their intellect. They hate it when someone makes a point or counter arguement they don't agree with and attack your intellect for it. Schad is a weird individual indeed.

We don't need people like him on these forums. Ruins the experience for many of us. Ever wonder why this forum is so dead? Now you know why.

This forum is dead because the Jays sucks right now. Back in 2015 and 2016 this board was popping.

That's more like it, Vlad.

Quite the comeback here. Can we finish it off?

Yes, yes we can.

Serves the Rays right - we owed them one. Actually, if were to win 20 in a row against Rays, cosmic balance would still not yet be restored.

I think it's most likely a case of not enough reps in the minors during his rehab from injury. We rushed him back because our big league rotation is best described as a raging dumpster fire.

Exactly. And who makes these decisions on calling up and sending players down? Management.

Why rush him back during rehab from an inury? lol. Shapiro and Atkins have any clue at managing at team?

I'd rather have some other dumpster fire rotation guy we can sign than risking re-injury and affecting Borucki's morale and confidence at pitching in the future. Dumb if you ask me.
