Depends on Berrios...so probably yes eventually.

Blue Jays have underachieved so large and yet remain in a playoff position.

Stick a fork into this team. This season is done.

DFA Kikuchi. What a horrible signing that was.

Read on Twitter

4-8 since the deadline now. Was 3-9 in the first 12 games after the deadline in 2014.

Loved AA.
He made great moves.
Could have maybe won another WS if Cecil didnt get hurt when he did.

I thought it was Springer insurance but now we're not even playing him in CF and playing him over Espinal/Biggio at 2B while Tapia mans CF?

Weird, weird stuff.

DFA Kikuchi. What a horrible signing that was.

Kikuchi had an ERA of 5.98 in his last 13 Starts with Seattle last year. Seattle had no interest in bringing him back even for one year, and declined their option on him. Kikuchi was also terrible in 2019 and 2020, with ERA's of 5.46 and 5.17 respectively.

Ross Atkins somehow thought he was worthy of getting paid 16 Million this year (36 million overall), and guaranteed him 3 years. Atrocious signing. Pete Walker is no Magician.

I would give Kikuchi the Tanner Roark treatment and DFA him. Eat the remaining money, and move on from Kikuchi's Scared Deer in the Headlights Look every game. It is demoralizing for a team to have a guy who constantly puts the team behind by the 3rd/4th Inning. At this point, I would give a guy in Double AA the chance to pitch in the big leagues, over Kikuchi. Jays fans had seen enough of his garbage Starts.

Actually thinking back we wanted Ian Happ but the price was too steep so we got Merrifield as a back up. But he's just so meh and we're not using him in center so we just added another Espinal basically for no reason.

I was so impressed with what Merri did in the Minny series.

Yeah, but we would have used Happ in CF. If we're going to use Merrifield, make it so that Tapia stops getting starts. Two of them is too much mediocrity.

What interim manager would start Kikuchi willingly. It’s not his decision.

Lol it's hilarious hearing the Ben's on the radio sell Kikuchi. Like oh he threw 4 straight fast balls, last start he would be scared to throw it.

It's like they selling us on anything like we are gm of another team tov trade for him. It's hilarious, I've never seen a broadcast search for anything for positive when it comes to him. It's like they know he's going to make more starts this year and trying to sell it...

Kirk not hitting for Jansen in that spot is interesting. Also stupid.

They dont even know ,or have forgotten how to make moves to win games. They just hope what they do at the start is enough.
