The love affair with scrub IKF is never ending, even with the season on the line (lol).

Varsho hitting above Clement is the stupidest decision in this lineup. Hopefully it doesn't cost the team runs.

We won the bullpen game against the Yankees (Game 4).
We won a Max Scherzer start this series.

No game is predictable or unlikely to win... I'm saying this game is 50/50. Let's win tonight and go into another 50/50 battle tomorrow.

I’d argue that starting the worst hitter in baseball is worse than batting a 123 wRC+ hitter over a 98 wRC+ hitter in the order but it could just be me

I don't think we see Little again this series unless its a blowout.
I know they have been doubling down publicly on the process to make that decision, but I think its in large part to try to keep some confidence in Little.

I thought for sure Varsho would be moved down the order, and IKF would be out in favour of Davis Schneider. Stubborn organization that sticks to its "analytics" and refuses to make the logical decisions even with the season on the line.

A world where the Pirates don't release IKF in August is a world I want to live in. Sad part is, with the front office likely to be extended, there's a good shot IKF is back next year too. The nightmare won't end.

Oh well. Have to hope he's our Alcides Escobar.

Hopefully the time is now. Varsho has been a disaster at the plate aside from one hard hit double and a couple of fly balls since the first two games against the Yankees. 2 for his last 26 with 9 of those outs being strikeouts, generally coming with men on base. Need a lot more from the guys hitting directly behind Vladdy or Seattle is just going to continue intentionally putting him on.

Let's get this game going.
Also have my NBA fantasy draft tonight at 8:00. Zero prep and I will pay limited attention to it.

I took a hiatus from fantasy this season, due to the Jays playing so well I haven’t paid much attention to basketball and how well all the players have done in preseason.

Feels good not having to worry about fantasy basketball for one season lol

Baseball isn,t this difficult, nor is it supposed to be given what the mgrs etc already know going in,about injuries etc..
Football is tougher to make the right decisions.Just my opinion.
