har har har

I don't know why i watched tonight after being so pissed off last night.

This lack of hitting with runners on base is so damn frustrating. I was swearing at the tv tonight. After the yankees scored 4 in the 7th, i turned it off. Then I crawled back in the 8th and noticed they had 2 men on with 1 out... and guess what? Don't cash them in
:x :x :x

Sorry....couldn't cap the interview....had a hot date tonight. Just got back and I must say.....yikes.....I have a feeling some players are going to be shipped out. Burnett wll be gone....Glaus, Thomas (lol), Phillips (released) and maybe even Towers/Chacin might all be gone.

This team is sad....what was it tonight.....15 runners left on.....49 runners left on base in the series. If they cashed 10 of the runners.....which works out to about a .200 batting average.....they're probably taking at least 3/4....possibly sweeping the Yanks. They lost tonight by 5, last night by 1 and on monday by 2......that's 8 runs.....lol.

Oh well.....I'm turning my hopes to Basketball....now that is a clutch team. If only JP could trade for Bargnani, Ford, Calderon, Parker, Kapono and Bosh.....all clutch players....this team would be in the playoff hunt...hypathetically speaking.

Y'know... AND turn them into baseball players.

Well....If Paul Godfrey believes in anything JP does....I guess he'll think it's possible. ;)

I think Mickey Brantley needs to go. It's probably not his faault they are hitting the way they are, but just to shake things up and wake the guys up.

Vernon Wells needs to start earning some money.

He was 0-fer today while Rios was 4-5 immediately ahead of him and Johnson had two hits and a walk.

It's almost like he doesn't want to bat third and rather than admit it, instead he just destroys the heart of the order. Frank Thomas' OPS is .820 and Wells' is only .756. Hell, Aaron Hill is hitting has an avg 13 points better and an OPS eight points better!!

Stop cuddling with Burnett and get some damn ribbies!!

Wells needs to go back to the leadoff spot, he hit 7 of his 13HR there and batted over .300. Then move Reed to 2, and Rios to 3rd.

37 stranded runners in 3 games - yes I believe Mickey Brantley needs to go.

Well since the whole thread revolves around highlighting our losses, mediocrity etc... I thought I'd make at least one post to celebrate last night's 3-2 victory, our only victory in the series. After giving the Yankee fans utter delight of having lost all previous games in the late stages of the game and buckling under pressure, we were able to steal one away and thus prevent the sweep.

P.S. Keep an eye on Barry Bonds, he's two away from tying Hank.

I was just thinking about the entire Yankees series this morning and it was pretty depressing knowing that this series could have easily been a sweep for us if the Jays managed to score more runs. Then again that's been the story for the whole season. :(

oh btw me and some buds saw Cito yesterday evening around 8 walking up Yonge near adelaide. We just shouted "Cito!" and he looked back and gave us this weird smile. :)

Didn't realize he was that tall though.
