Chapman 25 pitches and Crochet 117 pitches man playoff baseball really separates the men from the boys.

Yankees continue to only be able to beat AL Central teams.

There is a reason why I was pleading the Jays to sign Chapman last off-season, when he was looking only for an one year deal. Chapman needed time to get his velocity going to 100/101 miles per hour. What a pitcher. The definition of a Closer. The polar opposite of Jeff Coughman. Glad to see the Yankees get zero runs with Bases Loaded, and zero outs.

Chapman never had Tommy John. Maybe he's due for it just before the next series

The base running is so ass for the yankees.
Chapman is the real deal. It’s tough to say who I’d rather play, both pose different issues. Gun to my head I think we’d fair better against the red sox but that pitching they have could be a serious issue.

I think the red sox are the better team, but the yankees hit bombs, and we unfortunately give up bombs. Not sure thats a good pairing for us.

Most pitches for any starter in the playoffs in 6 years they just said? Maybe that will get the front office clowns to realize such a thing can be done again

If Jeff Coughman had the bases loaded with zero outs, he would have melted down in epic fashion. That is why to win when it matters, you need a Closer with Velocity and Command to get the job done in the 9th. Something the Jays need to address this off-season.

Duran could have ticked that box at the deadline. Chapman could have ticked that box last off-season in free agency, as I was begging this front office to sign him. Chapman looking better than ever, and looking like his dominant self from his days in Cincinnati a decade ago. What a pitcher.

While true, I wouldn’t want to be the team that gets that label off of them, and to close the season the yankees were playing way better than when we faced them earlier in the year. It’s a tough call.

For what it’s worth, overall, I think the Jays are better than both of them. We shall see.

Yankees losing is great but I’m scared we won’t be able to hit Boston pitching.

Crochet is a massive concern so want this to go to a game 3 so they burn Early (basically a lefty Yesavage) on Thursday.

If that happens, I think they may go bullpen game Saturday assuming Giolito is hurt.

Yeah Sox winning in 3 is most ideal outcome the more right starters we face the better.
