That Shohei non swing call was some serious rigging btw

He went the full way around

He also hadn’t pitched in quite a while.

Which I think makes a good argument for giving him a clean inning to work with.

That was a tough situation getting thrown in while rusty against 2 elite hitters. I think Freeman in particular just had a great AB.

He got a clean inning in the ninth to rectify his mistake and guess what same ****. There’s no excuses he sucked period.

He struck out on a ball, otherwise it would have been a tie game, if he just took it

Yea they need to stop letting him get rusty, it clearly messes with him. I don't know what the stats are but I feel like the last few times he had 4+ days of rest he struggled.

Apparently he’s been dominant on one day of rest, but everything else… not so much.

Either rigging or one of the worst chokes from an umpire you’ll ever see

lol I think he's blown a save every time he's gone multiple innings but then picked up the W as well so it hasn't technically hurt us

He has a couple multi inning saves this year. I still believe we overused him early in the year.

Did they show the replay? Nothing is worse than the Ben revere call though.
