First cycle in Fisher Cats history, he also now leads the EL in hits. Here's the triple that completed the cycle.

It wouldn't make much sense. He stays in Bluefield, and starts next season in Lansing skipping Vancouver entirely.

At least for now.
An interesting test - has he really stabilized, found a good groove? Sean Reid Foley seems to have found a decent grove, and carried it from NH to BUF, as has Ryan Borucki. These three might make a nice backend of the rotation while we wait on pitchers deeper in the system who might dislodge them or even claim top of rotation slots

Ya, he went off the radar, and the start of this season looked like a continuation of his struggles but he has had a great month of June, much more like a possible major league starter. Is June his new normal? We'll see.

Anybody know what happened to Jansen? He’s been out for a bit. Same with Warmoth, I think.

Jansen, minor hand injury, x-ray negative, being held out for a few days as a precaution.

Excellent start in AAA for Harris - 6IP, 1R, 0ER, 4H, 0BB, 4K
Lot of ground ball outs. No extra base hits. Didn't give up that run until the 6th inning. 85-51 pitches/strikes.

It is good to see Harris bounced back just like that. Eager to know what change sparked that breakout.

nvm, I found it.

"I made a little, not necessarily a delivery change, but I kind of moved my hands around a little bit to where I tried to get a little more deception in my delivery," Harris said. "I've been talking with our pitching coach, Vince Horsman, and he basically told me that he talks to a lot of the other [Eastern League] pitching coaches like, 'What do you see?' Their whole thing is, 'We see the ball way too much.' My last bullpen session, I was working on my hand placement to where I can hide the ball a little bit more to get some more deception, and tonight was one of those nights where it worked very well."
"It wasn't really that a certain pitch was working or anything," Harris said. "I think it was just the ability to just hide the ball a little bit better and not get good swings taken off me."

Alford falling is not a surprise, but completely unranked maybe a bit harsh

Soto is no longer eligible on MLB Pipeline. Acuna is very, very close to no longer qualifying, too, and he returns tonight.
