If springer can be a leadoff man, then chapman is actuallt a good suggestion. Not only is he faster, he has a good eye at the plate. Springer as a 4 actually makes sense where his clutchness and power can be used to drive in runs.

Springer is an aggressive hitter so doubt that plays well behind Vladdy. Chapman is not faster than Springer.

Yeah lack of options aside no point in wasting his stuff in Buffalo especially if he's throwing 99+ with good control. Not like Bass/Cimber/Yimi have proven to even be good so far this year.
