Minor league journeyman/major league mediocrities pitch great games against this team every other game. It is what it is.

Davis Schneider on Monday told Gibby on his show that Belt told him that he really liked his approach at the plate (have a plan, pick a pitch) and to keep doing it. Too bad he doesn't play.

Since when is Gibson a minor league journey man? Anyone can have a good outing.

Couldn’t find any decent tickets for the weekend or they were just too much.

I ended up picking up 4 for Monday night.

Most likely who is pitching Monday night ??

I assume you missed minor league journeyman Brett Kennedy shutting down to the Jays last week.

And you're right, Gibson is a major league journeyman with a 5 ERA this year.

Honestly went better than expected. Brandon Belt saved us from getting swept, which we otherwise deserved.

Do you expect them to win every series? Since when is losing 2/3 “pathetic”? You people call everything pathetic.

We will probably (Not certainly) be in a playoff position after our next easy 15 game stretch. The thing is that most likely not all of Seattle, Houston and Texas finish strong. Most likely one of the three closes its remaining games playing .500 or really close to it.

The final record needed to get in might not be as onerous as we expect. Unfortunately, we still need to win that level of games.

I do not expect them to win every series but going 3-10 against Baltimore and letting Kyle Gibson/Dean Kramer shut down the offense was pathetic.

I don't think they're out of anything. Worse teams than the 2023 Jays have made runs and gone far in the playoffs. But the offense needs to get going.

Losing every two games out of three would make them a 54 win team. They've lost 10 of 13 games to the Orioles this year. Yes, it's pathetic.
