21 of Hoffman's 32 earned runs have come in 6 games. Obviously, his stats are marred by small home run allowed sample.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

With bullpen in tatters and offence really lack luster past few weeks, somehow they still have a 3 game lead in the East and half game behind top seed in AL

Sweep the Reds then trash the Yankees and put this division to bed!

His peripherals are a bit better than his raw production but theres only so many excuses you can cook up when he has the worst barrell rate in the league lol

I wouldnt call it "lackluster" theyve had some rough games but 5.74 runs per game (Since August 1st) is pretty damn solid. Our pitching is making things way too difficult right now.

Hoffman's numbers would have been a lot worse over the season, if not for guys like Varsho and Straw in the outfield making many outstanding defensive plays that preserved several of his Saves.

People forget that. It could be a lot worse. I see no harm in giving Tommy Nance a chance to close some games in the 9th. Give Hoffman a break, and lower leverage situations. Nance has been excellent and one of the better relief pitchers in MLB for the month of August.
