Common sense?

You answered nothing…

If you think it will be easy closing them out at home in that hostile environment, after being embarrassed the past two games, then I salute you

Varlands curve location has been better

I think we are good too. I would have just preferred keeping Varland fresher for game 3.
I suppose you could argue the same thing for Fluharty.

if he wants to be a starting pitcher next year he needs that pitch to be money

The team really needed that kind of an inning from the bullpen. Takes the temperature down a lot.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I guess Varland was the right move, I'll take my above comments back. The 1-2-3 inning to take away any uncertainty was needed.

Not sure why Fisher only faced one batter to end the 6th. He could have gone another inning, without using guys like Eric Lauer and Nance who imploded on the mound in the 7th.

Clean and quick one at least for Varland. Close this thing out now.

Schneider bringing in that bruihl guy woke up the Yankee bats. Should have used varland instead. Can' t let your guard down with the Yankees. No lead is safe
