Very unlikely. Think it's more likely that we'd determined that i) Sanchez isn't a good starter and never will be, and ii) Sanchez doesn't want to be a reliever, so iii) keeping an unhappy rental Sanchez in the hopes of making him a decent reliever wasn't worth the trouble.
