Trent Thornton pitching in medium-high leverage situations for the Mariners. Goes about as well as you'd expect.

They've been doing it since he got there too. That's the team we're losing the WC race to.

Outside the Guerrero home run, it was another pathetic performance at the plate by this lineup with only 4 hits in the game. Hopefully, Ernie Clement can get another shot to be in the lineup and not be stapled to the bench.

Schneider offers no increased playing time to players who actually deserve it. If Varsho, Chapman or Merrifield never got another hit all season, he would still start them. Time to give up on this manager doing anything based on results.

Schneider can take Ross Atkin’s with him as well. Both are responsible for the roster composition and the in-game management.

Too many utility guys and no standouts positionally.

Too little hitting and although the pitching is decent, they can’t sustain leads due to the poor hitting approaches at the plate.

Too many runners in scoring position that amounts to nothing. If anything, they need a philosophical change because this current regime and players isn’t working.

I know Espinal is hitting better but hilarious he's in our 5 spot as we fight for our playoff lives

Does new coaching get it done for everyone? Or is everyone on board with tabula rasa?

To me their only non-weakness is finding pitching. But if you’re only gonna have one strength that’s a good one. Generally conceded that this team is underperforming; usually that’s a coaching issue, but I don’t have a sense of how real the puppet rumours are. Really wish they drafted better, that’d be enough for me.

Should we be concerned/anxious about Davis Schneider?

its so nice to see Chapman back in the everday lineup......for the teams that are worried about the jays catching them.

Mariners and Rangers both must be frustrating teams to cheer for.

Not dissimilar to the Jays.

No-hitter for washed Chris Sale coming today against this trash lineup.

Jays running into stupid outs on the bases even when they only have a couple baserunners all day. What a ridiculous team.
