Expect better, Randle! Could turn your whole life around! ;-)

Expecting better would be me wanting the FO to assemble an offense capable of scoring more than 3 runs against a struggling SP (which was the biggest reason for that loss, I think they left like a dozen runners on). It's not complaining about a manager doing the same thing literally any other manager would do in the same spot (i.e. riding with the guy who has dominated all season in a big spot over the guy with a 6 ERA).

All right, all right all right. You win. And also lose.

Next time post it before he blows it and I'll buy the criticism a bit more (and you know me, I'm happy to criticize this puppet manager). Easy to do it in hindsight on something like that.

Oh sh-t, you don’t believe me. Lol. OK.

I don’t log on to make stuff up. I’ve seen a bit of baseball. And I’ve been wrong before. But not today.

You may have been the only person on the planet calling for them to pull Yimi Garcia after some walks and no hard contact then for a 6 ERA pitcher with the game on the line. Congrats.

Ran a search on "Yimi" on Twitter. Interestingly, not a single person was calling for him to be pulled until after he allowed the HR. Was certainly a lot of blaming the manager after the fact though.

Get your head out of the stats. Use your eyes.

Bob Cox/Jimy Williams/Lou Pinella/Earl Weaver/Tony LaRusso/Casey Stengel etc. etc. would’ve pulled him.

I’m in the business of protecting his “zero ERA“. Other people are determined to surrender it.

I don't think at any point I've said what I would have done here, have I? I actually wouldn't have had a real problem with it myself either way. He looked gassed during the Naylor AB and came out of his delivery a few times.

Doesn't change the fact that no major league manager is pulling him there though for a guy with a 6 ERA with the game on the line.

Didn't Yimi go through a slump last season after starting well? Hopefully, this is not the start of another one.

Tough loss. 9 LOB doesn't help either. The bullpen injuries aren't helping either. On to the next one.

Definitely a tough loss. Garcia had been elite all year. A reminder that no reliever is perfect. The inability of this pathetic offense to drive in runs in scoring position, is equally to blame for this loss.

MVP Varsho was 0 for 4 and looked terrible at the plate. Same with 100 million dollar man Ryan Goins 2.0 Gimenez, and the 500 million man Vlad. Terrible at bats by all three of these jabronis today did not help with the outcome. Like you said, on to the next one.

Just got back from dinner at Scaddabush. Two guys in Jays caps with their girlfriends were behind us in line. One of the guys looks at his phone and says, “holy ****, the Jays lost!” They left Rogers Centre after the 8th inning. Anyway, they agreed they saw the best part of the game and were okay missing the grand slam.

Need better bullpen management, or it's going to cost us games this season. Clearly, fatigue was an issue in yesterday's loss for Yumi. JS should have bought him some time by going out to the mound, but he didn't. He's a bush league manager who has cost this team games before and will continue to.
