NEVER IN DOUBT

Closer than it needed to be, but it is a huge win. Just need ONE more.

It can't be overstated the psychological impact of not being able to make proper contact on the ball in a playoff series. In that situation you're more likely to sweep and then you can rest guys until the next round.

Yankees are a team you wanna bludgeon, and keep them down, demoralizing them further by getting Judge then Bellinger would have been fun to watch, and messed them up even further..just saying, and it shouldn,t matter going forward in this series.I,d bet that quite a few managers would have pitched him even longer.Schneider probably gets it..bad move what they did.Schneider still could have used Yesavage later in the series if he keeps him in just one more inning, instead of managing it assuming he will have to use him.

Another factor is why let him go through the lineup for a 3rd time? The less amount of times they see him the better especially if they may use him again later in the series.

I feel great how this series has went so far.
Vlad, Varsho, Kirk, Yesavage, Gausman and many others.

My only concern is if it gets to game 4. The guys that would typically pitch at the beginning of a bullpen game (Fisher, Lauer, Nance) all got touched up, although for Lauer it was soft contact. So the first 15 outs of that game concern me. I suppose Varland is also an option, but the way he has pitched, if its a close game in game 3 I want him to pitch in game 3.

Crazy or not, I still think the team has to assess Gausman pitching 3-4 innings to start game 4 (if necessary) instead of the other scrubs., and have Yesavage ready to go on regular rest in game 5 (if necessary)

Even with Yankees coming back a bit today Monday's game early on was way scarier. They had the bases loaded early in game looking to go up big early.

Schneider said they wanted to spare him at Yankee stadium.I dont like it when Schneider or the Khakis makes plans ,and doesn,t have the flex to change them.Odds are either of then would have hit him here at home.He goes into NY now, they have hologram info on him,and it might not go exactly the same as it did here.
Now we have to hope Bieber pitches a no no

I'd also consider hiring Jeff Gilooly to whack Justin Bruihl in the knees (sarcastic), and bringing in somebody else as an injury replacement if needed in game 4.

Almost every single one of your posts from the past few days has been gassing up the Yankees and/or trashing the Jays. We had their number all season and we've outscored them 23-8 in the ALDS so far while Bieber is set to pitch on Tuesday. Have some faith!
