I'm also telling my nephew, who is new to baseball that jays need more runs just because of the bullpen..how they won a bullpen game against yankees, best hitting team in baseball..one of those very weird things that could never happen again with this group

Varland got behind but are people really complaining about a jam shot off 99 inside edge? That was perfect location.

No it’s individual talent… good stuff doesn’t mean good pitcher. Look at Nate Pearson, Aaron Sanchez, etc

But look at guys like Varland, Seranthony, Hoffman etc. They were all great on other teams before we got them. Why are they ineffective here. There needs to be a deep dive on this.

Definitely not Yariel. He was hit hard last time. Same with Dominguez.

As Randle says, no one is a lock to get it done.

I like that we’re now quoting Randle as scripture! lol

Nah, complaining about our bullpen in general and how Varland is literally our best option.

No one warming? You've gotta have guys warming at all times. Can't risk any one guy blowing up...
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I have this sickening feeling in my stomach that we're gonna blow this 5-0 lead and lose 6-5 or 8-5. I just have zero faith in anyone in our bullpen.

Ya Randy was already on the run. Although I feel like Vlad reacted a tad bit late or else he could've gotten him.

Would’ve been cool if Barger got to the ball first with his momentum going towards the infield.

Gimenez and IKF are quiet with the bats tonight. Big game, and they are a no-show when batting.

Because he would be used to eat up innings, not high leverage situations.
