Oh my gosh, Rafael Devers. That makes 15 Ks in 19 ABs.

He's not the Sox's DH - he's their DK.

(Also, how the heck do the Brewers already have a -32 run differential?!?)

He wants a trade. It's not unheard of for players to tank their performance in order to force the issue.

Aaron judge is like the new barry bonds. The guy is unstoppable.

He’s doing the kind of stuff you expected generational hitter Guerrero to do. There were already a few at bats this season where Guerrero got crushable pitches and absolutely choked. I’m not sure why he hasn’t tried to tweak his swing yet. Judge tried a new hitting coach and is now Barry bonds level elite. What is Guerrero doing to be great?

Last year is probably the best you can expect Vlad to ever be. His one outlier MVP caliber season is clearly not coming back. We might really luck out on Vlad not signing the deal for 500M. A 800 OPS first baseman for 500M? No thank you

On a side note, I must applaud Shapiro/Atkins for letting go of Romano and bringing in Hoffman. Romano has been terrible in all of his outings in Philadelphia. I remember the outcry from some in Toronto over the Jays not bringing back "Blowmano".

Velocity is down, and his command has been terrible in all of his outings. Romano on the verge of losing his closer job. Not a great start for him in Philly. It is rare for me to praise Shapiro/Atkins, but they do so in this situation.

Romano just had a lot of fan support because of the Canadian connection and the fancy entrances and all that. He's been on a downward trajectory for a while. Gave up a ton of contact on the fastball and always had people on base. Not a good mix for a closer.

Our organization actually got this one right. I suggested that we were complimentary of him despite having no intent of resigning him to protect his value (for his own benefit). The Jays weren't going to come out and say that they had concerns of him and limit his ability to get paid elsewhere.

Somehow the Rangers are 8-4 with a -12 (!!!) run differential?
