Didn't notice this while at the game but it's pretty hilarious. Grisham was trying to rattle/get him out of his rhythm to start the game with the time call and Trey was having none of it.

Well if that's case, Yesavage tips his splitter even more, but no use for the Yankees since no one got on second base! And regardless, Yankees probably cant hit the splitter anyways even if they know its coming!

Judge is communicating something to Rice for sure, but Dominguez hasn't even started his delivery in those so I don't know what he could be tipping that early.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the rules, but I thought that pitchers weren't allowed to come set until after the hitter was in the box and looking at them?

You could see slightly Dominguez's right hand in the glove going into a splitter grip.

might be the way he grips the ball or the angle of the glove, arm etc. who knows.

At least Michael Kay did the decent thing on radio and shut down the Yankee fans making cheating accusations. He said without proof it just looks like whining.

Yeah, maybe the glove is lower or higher for certain pitches. Probably an easy fix if so.

Well that would definitely do it, but another easy fix.

Pretty sure he comes set when he brings the ball down to his waist.

Do the Yankees know they were 52-32 at home themselves? The Jays were the best in the league at home, but hardly an outlier. They did win a lot more 1 run and extra inning games than the Yankees, because the Jays have that dog in them and the Yankees are a team of losers with loser fans.

They can’t hit his splitter regardless, but could not swing if they know it’s coming. Much better chance of drawing a walk
