For who? What Clement is doing is an absolute mirage by batted balls stats

That’s the only guy there would even be an argument for
I'll take the mirage that's getting hits and runs over what Kirk has provided in the 4 spot.

So we’re gonna drop Kirk 2 spots because Clement had a fluky week

Ok

Unfortunately the crowd would boo him relentlessly to the point even if it made sense it wouldn't make sense. Other than up by 10 runs he was never getting into this series again.

Feels like we need at least one run in this inning. Getting multiple runs in any inning seems like a nearly impossible task with how the bats have looked tonight.

Here is how you know who made that decision to put Little in.

If Schnedier is fired before next season - it was him
If Schneider is still here next season - it was Atkins

You wanted to bench Vlad off a small sample size too, so why not?

Little isn’t pitching in a high leverage moment until next year. I’m just saying John is full of it.

We have 3 innings to do that. Our batters are popping out. We dont have it tonight. This is reminiscent of game 1.

Otoh, if we don’t believe in mirages what the hell do we believe in?

Kirk just looks bad with his swings. he's missing everything. usually at least foul off balls to stay alive like in the regular season.

ofc this is invalidated if Kirk comes back in this game and hits a ball out of the park or crucial RBI.

We have Vlad and?

Varsho and Kirk!!!

Varsho hasn’t been extended

I’ll give you Kirk

Other than that, this group has no sustainability

Clement was a 4.5 bWAR player this year and is under team control until 2029.

Barger, Schneider, and Lukes look like bonafide major leaguers, though perhaps not full-timer players.

Vlad, Kirk, Santander, and Gimenez under long-term control.

Springer and Varsho are the only two they don't have under long-term control, but they should both be back next year.

The offense should be fine next year. Like last off-season, they'll need to address the pitching. Gausman/Yesavage/Berrios obviously isn't enough, but they'll have Bassitt's and Scherzer's money to work with.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

then i guess whatever Kirk is swinging at is probably a mirage too
