He’s not hurt, but it’s a convenient excuse for idiocy and carelessness.

You’re right about Vlad almost making a blunder that was just as dumb too.

On the positive side apart from Springer's stupidity, take away Fluharty's one terrible appearance against Tampa last weekend where he got nobody out and allowed 4 runs- the guy has been terrific and arguably the team's best relief pitcher for nearly two months.

At least Swanson apparently not being a major leaguer is gonna cover up for Springer’s fatal blunder. No clue why he was offered a contract after 2024.

Barger is clutch. Never overpay these other stiffs.

Barger looks legit. May have just saved the season.

Incredible swing. This team cannot afford to bench guys like Barger and Clement, so their overpaid and overrated acquisitions like Gimenez and Santander continue to stink up the joint when they return from the injury list.

You can use some extra runs given the way Hoffman has pitched the last month in the 9th inning.

lol. They're struggling to get an out and you keep the bunt on with two strikes?

Asking Clase to still bunt after those two ridiculous attempts he made was incredibly stupid managing and it got the result it deserved.

If I see a bunt attempt hit the back screen I would say just swing the bat lmao

Schneider lacking any kind of game sense (or even common sense) is nothing new unfortunately.

Let's see how they do in the next series with a legitimate baseball team like Philadelphia, as opposed to a terrible team like Oakland. However, it is encouraging to see some of the players in this lineup produce the way they have recently (Clement, Barger, Lukes, Bichette, etc.). However, nice to see this team take care of business and sweep Oakland. Sweeping any 4 Game Series is typically hard in MLB.
