Seymour has only went 5 more than once. Lukes could come into the game relatively early and still have a few at bats.

Thank you Kevin Cash.

there’s still caminero.

And Aranda. Their two best hitters

But 4-9 it’s a weak lineup. Of course it’s baseball and only one day so any player could get 3 hits and a homer in on any given day.

Unless you’re Vlad.

Seems like things have been coming around the past few days, so all we have to do is win one more game then get that bye through the WC series and a much-needed break. Let's get it!

“Brutal sickness” caused him to miss the collapse

Don’t think I’ve heard that one before

This feels like a playoff game, so nervous.

Missing a week of baseball means nothing in the grand scheme of things compared to an entire paycheque.

There's more to life than sports, Randle. Go outside and touch some grass every once in a while.

Amazing how the brutal sickness subsided just in time for the final game of the year though. Glad you recovered and were able to turn a baseball game on

It didn't magically subside just in time for the final game of the year. I've been on the mend for a few days now, but I've been busy with other things in life after being unable to do anything for over a week.

Stop being such an ass. You have single-handedly made this board unbearable at times over the past 8 weeks despite the Jays being en route to their best season in 10 years.

It’s such a joy then to have you stop in to post though I notice you conveniently avoided the thread where you claimed the Jays had already effectively won the division 2 weeks ago and said it was all but guaranteed

His contract? Yes, it’s horrific.

But he had a very good year (and I said as much the entire season) until he started taking the worst ABs of his career for a 2 week stretch which coincidentally (or perhaps not so coincidentally) came at the same time the Jays badly needed his bat to clinch their first division title in 10 years

Don't even bother trying to argue, it's not worth it. Some people are...well...the way they are, and engaging based on good faith will do nothing but spoil a perfectly fine sunday. Glad you're feeling better, enjoy the game!

Yeah, Randle is back on the foe list and ignored. No worries now.

Thanks! You enjoy the game too and hopefully we won't be actively posting in a game thread for almost another week!

Gausman on regular rest for the first time in a month and looking just as poor as he did the last time he did this

Better hope the offense isn’t its usual tepid self again
