So in a desperate attempt to overcome the juggernaut of popularity known as the National Hockey League, the Boston Red Sox decided to borrow one of hockey's greatest current treasures: The Herb Brooks Kid.

Five-year-old Josh Sacco, whose memorized recreation of Kurt Russell's speech as Herb Brooks in "Miracle" sparked an Internet sensation, spoke to a sold out Fenway Park in an effort to inspire the home team to victory over another Evil Empire, the New York Yankees
