Ricky Romero's Rollicking Romp to the Record Rolls

In wild pitches, of course. Just as I jinxed Hill's pursuit of the 2B HR record, so too shall I jinx Romero's pursuit of the wild pitch record.

With two today, Ricky now has 12 on the year, in 47.1 IP. That puts him on pace to throw 51 should he pitch 200 innings, which would almost double the modern-day record of 27. Not only that, but he would be in the upper echelon for pitchers from the 1880s, an era where catchers didn't have pads. Or masks. Or even gloves.

Can he do it? If so, what'll the final number be?
