Lefty, lefty, blowout--err, Morrow.

Should be interesting; Texas isn't an epic offensive team right now; Kinsler's out for the season, right? And their DH is epic-fail even worse than Overbay so far. Smoak is under the Mendoza line but still hitting homers and will probably break out against Cecil or Morrow. They do have a couple of guys who are hitting pretty well, and Vlad may still have something left, so it'll be an interesting few games.

Harden and Feldman have both been really hittable so far and giving up homers a lot, while Harden is also walking guys left, right and center.

I like our chances of coming out of this with 2 wins.

I have Kinsler and Vlad in my fantasy team and Kinsler isn't playing that well right now, but Vladdy is killing it right now. They might get to Cecil, but I think we'll do as much or more damage on Harden via last game we had against him.

If Cito keeps putting out the same lineup he did on Sunday, I expect a Rangers sweep. Only the Marcum-Snider two-man show could save the day there...
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Ah, nuts, must have confused Kinsler with someone else then. Ah well.

Here's to us staying competitive through the series; I'll be happy as long as we have a good shot to win most of the games.

I dunno about us sweeping this series...but I could see us taking at least 2. We did really well on the road against them in the begining, shouldn't be too much different at home.

if snider has another good series he has to move up and replace overbay at 5th. i was willing to wait a little but look at the may numbers after 13 games now:

Snider - 15 hits in 41 abs (.366) 2 hrs 7 rbis 7 runs and a 1.054 ops
Overbay - 7 hits in 42 abs (.167) 0 hrs 2 rbis 4 runs and a 0.437 ops

So much for all 162 games being broadcast on Sportsnet. Where the f*ck is this game?

Edit* Channel 385 on Rogers apparently.

Thanks for posting this here! It's pretty sad that I had to look in here to find out where the game is. The Jays website says 'Sportsnet'. No mention anywhere of the game being on a special, hard-to-find channel tonight. I guess they feel like there are already enough people paying attention to the team this season.

^^ it is mentioned on sportsnet's website... but even still there could have been a little more notification that that's where to find it...

not that it matters anyways, after Cecil's 2 innings/8 earned run performance, whoever did find the game has likely found something better to watch anyways...

Heh, isn't over yet...anyone want to bet the over/under? Setting it at 26.5.

Snider really needs to move up in the order. OPS up to .803 now after that dinger. Looking good.

Agreed, his OPS+ is now around 115. He should be 5th or 6th.

Now Vernon homers...I set the over/under far too low. They'll reach that next inning.
