BAL Kevin Millwood, RHP (0-4, 3.71) @ TOR Shaun Marcum, RHP (4-1, 2.82)
Orioles: Despite being among the American League leaders in innings and providing the best arm in Baltimore's rotation, Millwood is still looking for his first win of the season. He picked up a hard-luck no-decision in his last appearance Sunday against Washington, when he held the Nationals to three runs over 6 1/3 innings. He allowed eight hits, walked one batter and struck out eight in his 10th start of the season. In 10 career starts against the Blue Jays, Millwood is 2-5 with a 4.80 ERA. Of those 10 games, six occurred in Toronto, where he is 1-3 with a 4.78 ERA. He pitched 7 2/3 innings against the Blue Jays in Baltimore's third game of the season and gave up five runs (one earned) while striking out six.
Blue Jays: Marcum was unconventionally effective in his last start against Arizona, allowing three runs over five innings, while striking out a season's high eight batters. Marcum, normally a pitch-to-contact hurler, worked a high pitch count early in the ballgame (103), resulting in his shortest outing of the campaign. Nevertheless, the right-hander pitched well enough to earn his fourth victory of the season and in the process increased his homerless streak to three games. More good news for Marcum, he has walked two or fewer batters in his last four starts, which has contributed to three wins and one no-decision over that span. Marcum has also been backed by some better offense as of late as the Jays piled on 23 runs in his past two games against Minnesota and Arizona. Against the Orioles, Marcum is 1-2 lifetime with a 5.68 ERA over 50 2/3 frames.

BAL Chris Tillman, RHP (0-0, -.--) @ TOR Brett Cecil, LHP (4-2, 4.10)
Blue Jays: Despite forgetting to bring his signature blue sport goggles on the Blue Jays' past nine-game road trip, one could hardly see the difference as Cecil continued his hot start by throwing 7 1/3 shutout innings, giving up only two hits, against the Angels. With the exception of one bad start against Texas on May 14, when Cecil allowed eight runs over only two frames, the young left-hander has surrendered four or fewer runs in his remaining six outings. Cecil has also limited his free passes to three and under in all seven of his starts, and has only allowed four home runs in 41 2/3 innings, a sign of outstanding control. Cecil is 1-0 lifetime against the Orioles with a 1.74 ERA in two starts.

BAL Jeremy Guthrie, RHP (3-4, 3.64) @ TOR To be announced
Orioles: In his last outing Tuesday against Oakland, Guthrie turned in his eighth quality start in 10 appearances this season. He held the A's to one earned run through six innings, giving up six hits and three walks while striking out two. All three of his wins this season have come over his last four starts. Guthrie is 2-4 with a 3.56 ERA in 11 career starts against the Blue Jays, five of which came at the Rogers Centre. He is 1-2 with a 3.16 ERA at the Toronto stadium.
