**** just tuned in and they're down 2-1. I was expecting at least 5 runs by now.

Cosentino - And Cleveland with a four-six-double-three!

I hate Cito ball. When the pitchers are struggling with command, the Jays offense just swing @ 3-0, 3-1, 2-0 count with runners on, only to get themselves out of the inning. Take some goddam pitches sometimes. That's why this team can never have a big inning.

Aaaand the "OBP is overrated" approach continues to fail, like most knew it eventually would.

Crap-tacular offense (but nice work by Bautista) and an embarrassing suicide squeeze... Yeah, Jays!

Good game from Ricky; bonus points for trying the Robbie Alomar glove-flip to home, heh.

Wells and Overbay continue to swing back up, getting a couple of hits. Overbay even had a timely single in the 9th after the previous guys got owned. Didn't go anywhere, unfortunately, but it's nice to have him not flirting with the Mendoza line again. Lind continues to be weak sauce. :(

Ah well. We knew it was coming. .500 looms, but really, if we win 80+ games, that's not a bad year given everything that's happened.

It's taken longer to get to .500 than I thought it would. I guess that's an accomplishment.

We are hitting .223 in June, which is ass-last in the majors.

Go Jays! *grumble*

It'd be cool if we had a little spark when Snider comes back after the All-Star break (whenever that ends up being), though.

Yay, 2-0 Indians already! Go, go Errors'R'Us, that's the Jays! And from Johnny Mac, no less...

Well, at least Wells got on. 2 hits for the Jays so far... c'mon guys, let's get something going. Morrow, you need to have a quiet inning, then the, ugh, back end of the Jays lineup needs to come up with something.

I know Tabler was talking about something else, but "chinkers" isn't something you normally expect to hear from a TV announcer...

Holy crap, Santana is fast! Didn't Hafner hit a HR off Morrow in the first series?

Well, at least he's deep into the game. We weren't going to win this one with the way our offense has been trending, at least we don't have to go too deep into the 'pen...
