I hate Cito ball. When the pitchers are struggling with command, the Jays offense just swing @ 3-0, 3-1, 2-0 count with runners on, only to get themselves out of the inning. Take some goddam pitches sometimes. That's why this team can never have a big inning.

Wells and Overbay continue to swing back up, getting a couple of hits. Overbay even had a timely single in the 9th after the previous guys got owned. Didn't go anywhere, unfortunately, but it's nice to have him not flirting with the Mendoza line again. Lind continues to be weak sauce.

Ah well. We knew it was coming. .500 looms, but really, if we win 80+ games, that's not a bad year given everything that's happened.

It's taken longer to get to .500 than I thought it would. I guess that's an accomplishment.

We are hitting .223 in June, which is ass-last in the majors.
