"Aaron Hill willing to play 3B, says terrific column by @GloBlair. I'm hearing #Jays have considered Kelly Johnson at 2B. #Dbacks #TRADES"

i highly doubt the jays will move Hill to 3B. he's doing a great job at 2B, why mess with a good thing. they've already shuffled him around when he first came up.

surprised no one mentioned that we have edwin encarnacion at 3rd and Bautista in RF who can play 3rd, and with snider coming back, its gonna be a huge log jam....

AA does appear interested in middle infielders and already has AHech on the way. A logical mind can only conclude that at some point he is thinking of moving Hill to 3b or another team.

Or move Escobar to 3rd when AHech is developed...especially with Escobar's size for SS, I can see him making the move over to 3rd before Hill

Kelly Johnson? That would be buying high on an unspectacular player and he's not even a type B so we can't try for a pick.

no way escobar moves to third, they might mold ahech to play 2b or have hill play 3rd or getting shipped

Nah I don't see Hill getting moved...he's just having an off year. He'll bounce back, moving him to third...I dunno about that. It would depend who we have filling the 2nd.

Johnson is decent, but has cooled incredibly since his start. Trading for him would be doing the reverse-Gonzalez. Doesnt fit AA's MO.

Definitely not. The whole reason Ahech signed with us was the fact that he had a good opportunity to play SS in the majors. If Escobar is here long term, he moves to SECOND base and hill is either moved to 3rd and or removed altogether.
