Wallace dealt?

I guess Rhett doesn't do MLB.

-Targeted Gose in Halladay deal but Phillies did not want to give him up.
-Gold glove potential
-Rushed a bit in the Phillies system
-Don't judge him by stats, all scouts have come back impressed
-Future at first base up in the open

Just saw the interview:

Anthony Gose:
- Tryed to get Gose in the Halladay deal and again during the spring
- Critics may point to poor BA and stealing percentage, but he is only 19 years old and was rushed in the Phillies system because he is so talented
- Gold glove defense in centre field
- All the scouts like him.... feel he has a lot to learn but has all-star potential
- Difficult to give up Wallace but when you struggle that's how you know it's a fair trade

Jose Bautista:
- Thrilled to have him but will trade anyone if it makes the team better

Lyle Overbay:
- Bad start, but playing much better lately
- 1B situation up in the air for next year but it is possible he could be back

I heard this interview and hated every bit of it.

I'm ready for somebody other than Overbay at 1st base.
