Buck goes on 15 day dl. Takes 3 stitches to right thumb. No callup announced but should be Arencebia

Sadly, I do. This is Cito we're talking about...he'll probably leave JP on the bench for the first game (and possibly the second) before working him into the lineup.

how old is this kid? all i've read he's an above-average hitter for a catcher. how is he defensively?

24 and has improved a lot defensively over the years

Hopefully JPA takes this opportunity and runs with it. I'm very optimistic.
I hope AA forces Cito to play JPA and Snider a lot down the stretch. If he plays Molina more than twice a week while Buck is on the DL, I'll flip.
