My question to Cox - outside of whether we should cast aspersions on the next Maple Leaf 50 goal scorer when he emerges in the next millenium - is whether Bautista really emerged this year or late last season and if the latter, is this the usual pattern for steroid enhancement. Generally, players get juiced in the offseason and stayed in maintenance mode during the regular season, not the other way around.
