This is pretty much a wild stab in the dark but...

Currently sitting at 65-60 will the Jays finish the season with an above .500 record?

Considering I thought they would win 69 games this year, they are playing above expectations either way.

I'm hoping so! Tanking doesn't seem to have much of an effect (when compared to the NBA), so there's really no reason for me to cheer against them. Plus, they're such a likeable group of guys who work hard... GO JAYS!

Depends if they decide to shut down some of our starters. Not sure how much longer Marcum, Cecil, and Morrow can go.

I thought the schedule might ease up from here on considering how tough August was, but it looks even worse down the stretch. From Monday to the end of the season these are the teams the Blue Jays will play (not in order) :

6 Against Tampa (3 at home, 3 away)
6 Against New York (3 at home, 3 away)
4 Against Texas (home)
3 Against Boston (away)
4 Against Minny (away)

The only easy bits are

6 against our friends in Baltimore (3 at home, 3 away)
3 against Seattle (home)

If they shut down some of the starters then it looks like it will be tough to finish over .500, but given the way they have played after the all star break then you never know what could happen.
