"R. Ray will be called up to start for Jays Wedneday. In Ray's last 10 starts, he's 3-3, 7.26. Overall, 6-6, 5.51."

his numbers are not good by any stretch, but i can live with this. rather see him than richmond or mills to be honest.

I liked watching him pitch. I wonder how his numbers got so bloated in the minors?

They called him up to assess him for the future. If he bombs, its over for him. Never did impress me much.

Richmond's fate was sealed the moment he went public.

He did have that great start against Chicago last year. And he only walked 6 in 24 IP.

He was only stating the obvious and not causing any trouble, I just think management wants to make up their own minds, and statements like this often have the opposite effect.

“I’m really hoping for a September call-up so I get some more innings and start cruising, because last year I started really strong and I feel like I’m right there right now.”
