Did anyone else see Cecil slap the ball on Cito?? He was clearly not happy when Cito pulled him from the game.

"Struggling" is polite; he's looked like crap. He walked the first batter, had a nice K, and has since looked awful. When you've tossed 50 pitches in two innings and you're down 3 runs before your team has gotten through the lineup once (or even recorded a hit), then you're not "struggling," you're "sucking."

Here's hoping he settles down and finishes out the next 2 or 3 innings before he gets pulled.

EDIT: How many innings has he pitched this year? Almost 200 now, IIRC, like 20, 30 more than last year. He's got to be tired.

Nice little interview with Eric Thames.

Ricky settling in a little, hope he can keep it up. That changeup has been kind of evil for the Baltimore batters today.

And Romero goes 1-2-3 in the third. He looked liked a completely different pitcher, hopefully he can keep it up.

Ricky struggling a bit in the 4th. LOOONG at-bat with Izturis. Battling, though. Rance is totally awful.

Ah, there's the K. Very nice.

Lol at Escobar pulling Roberts foot off the bag and tagging him. That was classic.
