So is everyone cheering for Doc? Who is winning it all this year?

I certainly wish Doc well, but deep down inside I actually hope he doesn't win it all in philly. I think it makes his stay in Toronto less meaningful. In a perfect world of mine, he completes his contract there without a title, and signs back here and wins one with us
Anyhow, I'll be pulling for all the NL teams, except the Giants because nobody likes them. I always like rooting for teams with former jays/canadians, so I guess the Cincinnati Reds (Rolen, Votto) will be my favorites this year.
edit: haha I contradicted myself by saying I like seeing former jays doing but not Doc, but that's just because his legacy here is just so big i suppose.

Doc all the way!!!! He's a great baseball player, but more so a even better human being and he totally deserves a ring. I'll be cheering and praying for him and the Phillies
My predictions
Yanks over Twins
Rays over texas
Phillies over reds
Braves over Giants
then
Rays over yanks
Phillies over braves
world series
Phillies over Rays

i know where you're coming from.. but it's hard to not want Doc to win though..
Also, if he does win a ring, I wonder if he'll get into the HoF as a Jay or Philly............

In the AL I'll be rooting for the Rangers, and for the NL i'll be cheering for the Reds.
I'll be cheering against the Yankees as I usually do.

I have no problem againts any N.L team.
or the Rays in the AL.
Just dont like teh yankees and the other al teams (because of the easy divisions they have to go through) compared to us.

What i'm hoping for
Reds over Phils: Sorry Roy, just like Votto more and i always like cheering for the small market teams
Giants over Braves: Never liked the braves at all and Lincecum is my favourite pitcher.
Texas over Tbay: no particular reason other than cheering against Division rivals
Twins over Skankees: a no brainer one

Awesome:
http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/mlb/ ... id=5650782A.J. Burnett will not be part of the New York Yankees' starting rotation in the American League Division Series, a baseball official with knowledge of the Yankees' thinking has confirmed.
The Yankees announced Tuesday that CC Sabathia will start Game 1 against the Minnesota Twins.
Andy Pettitte will start in Game 2, while Phil Hughes will start Game 3 when the series moves from Minnesota to the Bronx.
The Yankees did not announce a Game 4 starter. But according to the source, manager Joe Girardi will bring Sabathia back for Game 4 on short rest if needed, while Pettitte, who would pitch on regular rest because of the off days in the schedule, would start Game 5 if necessary.

BTW, could you imagine the Phillies if they'd kept Lee and added Oswalt this year? I couldn't imagine how they'd possibly fail going with Halladay/Lee/Oswalt/Hamels.
I know it's all academic 'cause they never would've done both, but holy **** that would've been an incredible rotation for the playoffs.
BTW, I have to cheer for Roy and Phillies, they'll be my #1 team for the duration. Roy needs and deserves rings and as much as I'll hate to see it happen elsewhere that won't stop me hoping to see him get it. In the AL, whoever's playing the Yankees is my favorite at the time, so I'm in the Twins camp now, although I have no idea if it'd stay that way if they beat NYY. I think my softest spot is for TB of the 4 in the East, even with the divisional thing. Although I fear a Marlinesque offseason if they win it all (not as a Jays fan I don't, but it'd still look awful for baseball).
