Given our need for a legit 3rd baseman, I was thinking that how the Jays could possibly inquire about McGehee if he's on the trade block. He hit 23HRs for Milwakee in 2010 with 104 RBIs and hit on an average of .285
Any chances that we could land a 3rd baseman like McGehee?

Could be a long shot either way, but I think that depends on if a reporter is just speculating or if he really is on the block.

Brewers need pitching more than anything, we could probobly get him but it would cost one of the starting 4.


Edit* wonder what it would take to get Fielder and McGehee? hmmmmm

For McGehee, not as much as well think. He had a a really good season, but i think we could go without giving up the starting 4. We would have to throw in Rzep and others prob though. Fielder would take a lot more obviously, knowing our luck they would ask for Marcum. But if McGehee is on the table, I hope we put effort into pursuing that.
